EA DICE Defend Star Wars Battlefront 2 Crates

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is being surrounded by criticisms due to its loot box/crate system. In a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), EA DICE devs answered some of the most pressing questions and rants from fans.

In response to a complaint on the loot box/crate system, EA DICE associate design director Dennis Brannvall said, “I think crates can be a fun addition as long as you don’t feel forced to engage with them in order to progress. I feel that’s where the issue is with our game right now and that’s where we’ll look to solve as quickly as we can.”

Brannvall adds, “We’re looking to add additional ways to progress your favorite character or class, while allowing crates to be a fun thing for those who want to engage with them.”

Star Wars Battlefront 2 officially launches 17 November 2017 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
